Welcoming Our New Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, Sam Kidd
We’re delighted to welcome Sam Kidd to the Quantik team as our new Apprentice Quantity Surveyor.
Sam joins us at the very beginning of his professional journey in construction and commercial management. Based in Harrogate, he brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong commitment to developing his skills and understanding of the quantity surveying profession. Sam will be working alongside our experienced team while studying towards his BSc (Hons) Chartered Quantity Surveying degree at Sheffield Hallam University.
Our Commitment to Developing Future Talent
At Quantik, we strongly believe in investing in the next generation of quantity surveyors. Apprenticeships offer an invaluable opportunity to combine academic learning with practical, real-world experience — ensuring that future professionals develop both technical competence and commercial awareness from the outset. Our partnership with Sheffield Hallam University enables apprentices like Sam to gain exposure to live projects, structured mentorship, and first-hand experience of the commercial and contractual challenges faced in the construction industry. By working closely with both academic partners and industry professionals, we aim to support the development of well-rounded, capable, and forward-thinking surveyors.
Building Careers Through Collaboration
Welcoming apprentices into our team reflects Quantik’s long-term commitment to professional development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. By nurturing young talent, we ensure that our business continues to evolve and that our clients benefit from a team that combines deep industry experience with fresh perspectives and new ideas.
We’re excited to have Sam join us and look forward to supporting him as he begins his journey towards becoming a qualified quantity surveyor.
