Society of Construction Law Lunch – Manchester

Tom Haley Managing Director, and David Stones Commercial Manager recently attended the annual Society of Construction Law (SCL) lunch in Manchester, a key event in the SCL calendar that brings together construction law professionals from across the region. This event compliments similar lunches held throughout the UK, with Leeds being the next event they will be attending.

The lunch took place at the Radisson Edwardian, located next to the Manchester Central Convention Complex, an iconic venue that reflects the city’s ongoing development and regeneration.

During the event, they had the opportunity to reconnect with several law firms they've been working with in recent months. They were seated at the top table alongside Rebecca Shorter, Chair of the SCL, Fraser Askham from CMS, and guest speaker Andy Spinoza. Andy delivered an interesting talk on Manchester’s transformation over the past 40 years, drawing on themes from his recently published book.
