Recruitment update

Quantik is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Thomson as Associate Director, further strengthening the firm’s capability in adjudication, dispute resolution and construction claims.

Ben brings over 24 years of experience in commercial and quantity surveying across the construction industry. His background spans a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, commercial and industrial, with project experience ranging from small refurbishment works through to major multi million pound developments.

He joins Quantik from William Birch & Sons Limited, where he held the position of Commercial Director. In this role, Ben was responsible for leading commercial strategy and overseeing delivery across multiple projects and teams, with a focus on risk management, contract administration and commercial performance.

Ben has extensive experience in dispute resolution and construction claims, with a strong track record in managing and resolving complex commercial issues. His expertise includes working under both JCT and NEC forms of contract, as well as advising on contractual matters, claims preparation and dispute management.

At Quantik, Ben will lead the firm’s Adjudication, Restructuring and Insolvency services. His appointment enhances Quantik’s ability to support clients facing complex disputes and financial challenges within the construction sector.
