Andrew Shaw delivers a seminar at Sheffield Hallam covering NEC Claims

Associate Director Andrew Shaw delivered a guest seminar on NEC claims at Sheffield Hallam University yesterday, providing students with a practical and experience-led overview of working with NEC contracts in a live project environment.

The session began with exploring the fundamentals of NEC and the core principles that underpin effective claims management. An interactive discussion followed, focusing on key NEC concepts around claims, alongside scenario based workshops designed to encourage critical thinking and real world application. The seminar concluded with practical tips drawn from project experience and an open Q and A, giving students the opportunity to explore questions and deepen their understanding.
